Abuja (Precise Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated former President Goodluck Jonathan on the occasion of his 63rd birthday celebration, saying that his life of Service has brought honour and goodwill to Nigeria.
Buhari in a statement released via his twitter handle account @MBuhari said Nigeria specially appreciates the dedication that has kept Dr. Jonathan working most recently as ECOWAS envoy to bring peace to the Republic of Mali.
President Buhari’s tweets read:
“On behalf of the Federal Government, and Nigerians in general, I congratulate former President @GEJonathan on his 63rd birthday, today. We celebrate a life of service that has brought honour and goodwill to Nigeria.
“Nigeria specially appreciates the dedication that has kept Dr. Jonathan working most recently as ECOWAS envoy to bring peace to the Republic of Mali. I pray that the Almighty God will grant him longer life, good health and more wisdom to keep serving the nation and humanity.
