Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Dr Peter Obi on Tuesday visited the victims of flood inTaraba State .
Precise Post recalls that the LP flag bearer has called of his campaign tour for one week due to the havoc and displacements caused by the flood in some states.
Disclosing this via his twitter handle late Tuesday night Obi said he was in Taraba State to assess the level of damage caused by the flood, and also to interact and sympathize with the flood victims.
The tweet reads in full:
“Today, I was in Taraba State to assess the level of damage caused by the flood, and also to interact and sympathize with the flood victims. I reassured them of our firm support to them], especially in these challenging times. – PO.”
Precise Post recalls that Obi has visited other states like Bayelsa State. Anambra state, Benue State and a host of other states to show empathy and to assure them of his support and that of other Nigerians in this their trying moments.
