Abuja (Precise Post) – Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has grieved over the death of Nigeria’s famous thespians, Mr Sadiq Daba, describing him as a “multi-talented art persona who will be sorely missed by all”,
According to the statement released on Thursday signed by his Media Adviser, Uchenna Awom, Senator Abaribe described Daba as a creative artist who deployed his talent to espouse the unity, conflicts and resolutions inherent in typical African communal settings.
This much he added made the rested flick “Cock Crow at Dawn” in the early 80s where Daba played the central role of a loyal son, the favorite drama series of many families.
Daba’s death Senator Abaribe added is sad and signals an unfortunate reality of the sagging number of Nigeria’s great actors of old, that worked tirelessly to bring happiness to many despondent homes.
“He was not only a fine actor, Sadiq Daba was also an ace broadcaster and a high profile compere of note. He was indeed a multi-talented art persona who will be sorely missed by all”, Abaribe said.
Senator Abaribe however, condoled with the family of the deceased, the broadcast and art industry.
