Abia Bye- Election: PDP’s Chimobi Wins Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Chimaobi Iheanyichukwu Ebisike has emerged the winner of the Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency Bye-Election, held on 27th March 2021, the Independent National Electoral Commission has declared.

Chimaobi emerged the winner of the election with 10, 322 votes out of the 16, 017 total votes cast.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mascot Uzor Kalu came second with after scoring a total of 3,674 votes.

According to the result released by INEC via it’s twitter handle on Sunday, there were 496, 628 registered voters with 16, 335 accredited votes and total votes cast stood at 16,017.

While the valid votes were 15, 772, there was 245 rejected votes.

The electoral Commission said that percentage turnout I the election was 3.29%.
