Abuja (Precise Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked two Executive Directors of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and appointed three new ones.
The report further revealed that sack of Rotimi Fasakin (Executive Director Operations) and Gambo Ahmed (Executive Director, Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services) came following the recent appointment of Dr. Bashir Jamoh as new Director General of the agency.
Precise Post recalls that President Buhari recently appointed Dr. Bashir Jamoh as new Director General of the agency when many were anticipating the renewal of the appointment of the former DG, Dakuku Peterside.
Sources hinted that a former Delta Speaker, Victor Ochei, will take over from Ahmed as the new Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage Services.
