….Commends Governors of Plateau, Lagos and Nasarawa States for Establishing Disability Rights Commissions

Abuja (Precise Post) – President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Disability Bill into Law in fulfilment of his promise to the community of Persons with Specialist in Needs.
Buhari who also inaugurated a National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, thanked Governors of Plateau, Lagos and Nasarawa States for enacting disability laws and establishing Disability Rights Commissions.
The president disclosed this in a statement released via his personal twitter handle @MBuhari thus:
“I thank the Governors of Plateau, Lagos and Nasarawa States for enacting disability laws and establishing Disability Rights Commissions; I am calling on Governors of Yobe, Kano & Kogi to implement their laws, while those States that are yet to do so should take necessary action.
