Abuja (Precise Post) – The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of COVID-19 infections on Monday as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 562 new cases.
The FCT reported 102 new cases followed by Lagos state, the known epicentre of the Covid-19 infections in the country.
Releasing the report via its twitter handle late Monday night, the NCDC said that a total of 37,225 cases have been recorded with death rate of 801.
The total number of patients treated and discharged are 15,333 discharged, since the first recorded case of COVID-19 infection in the country in mid-April, the agency added.
