Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Sunday confirmed 120 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases now to 160,657 patients in Nigeria.
In its report released via its twitter handle, the COVID-19 infection curve is flattening as only 14 states reported infections (including FCT) and Lagos recording the highest with just 32 cases. It is followed by Rivers with 25 cases and Kaduna 20 infections.
According to the report, other states where infections were recorded are: Bayelsa-13, Kano-7, Jigawa and Borno-5, Abia-4, Oyo-3, Plateau-2 with FCT, Ogun, Nasarawa and Imo recording 1 infection each.
The health agency further stated that 145,399 patients have been treated and discharged from across the various isolation facilities in the country while 2,013 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27 last year.
