Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 152 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 65,457.
Releasing the report late Wednesday night via it’s twitter handle, the NCDC ststed that 61,337 patients have been treated and discharged while
1,163 lives had been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported on 27th February, 2020.
According to the health agency, the fresh cases were recorded from 12 states including the FCT with Lagos state -the epicentre of the infection recording 61 cases followed by Oyo with 39.
Others are; FCT-13; Yobe-10; Bauchi-6; Kaduna-5; Kano, Kwara and Plateau-4 each; Edo, Ogun and Rivers-2 each.
