Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 296 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria
The announcement of the confirmed new cases was contained in a report released by NCDC via its twitter handle on Wednesday.
According to the health agency, the following infections were recorded :
Plateau-85 Enugu-46 Oyo-31 Lagos-21 Rivers-20 FCT-15 Kaduna-13 Bauchi-12 Delta-11 Ekiti-11 Akwa Ibom-7 Ebonyi-6 Kwara-5 Ogun-4 Osun-4 Gombe-3 Niger-2
It further stated that total of 53,317 cases have been confirmed since the index case while 40,726 have been treated, recovered and discharged.
The NCDC reported that 1,011 deaths have also be recorded.
