COVID-19: NCDC Records 662 New Cases, Total Now 150,908

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said that 662 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country, bringing the total confirmed cases to 150,908 as at Friday night.

Releasing the report via it’s twitter handle on late yesterday, the health agency said that the new cases were recorded from 23 states including FCT as follows:

Lagos-167; FCT-116; Ogun-45; Kano-44;
Akwa Ibom-35; Edo-34; Rivers-27; Kaduna-23;
Osun-23; Kwara-22; Taraba-2; Oyo-20; Ondo-19;Plateau-14; Abia and Imo-11 each.

Others are; Nasarawa-7; Niger-6; Bayelsa-5;
Delta-5; Enugu-3; Ekiti-2 and Jigawa-1.

The health agency further stated that 127,500 patients have been discharged from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria.

The NCDC regrettably announced that the total of 1,813 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related ailments since the index case was reported in February 27, 2020.
