COVID-19: New Infection Cases Shrink To 676 Against 685 Reported On Monday – NCDC Says

Abuja (Precise Post) – The new of COVID-19 infection Tuesday shrinked to 676 as against Monday’s figure of 685, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.

The NCDC in its released report stated that the 676 cases were recorded from 19 states including the FCT as follows:

Lagos-227; Rivers-73; Niger-69; Plateau-56;
FCT-50; Kano-44; Oyo-43; Ogun-27; Gombe-18;
Ondo-15; Enugu-10; Osun-10; Cross River and
Edo-8 each.

Others are: Nasarawa-7; Bauchi-4; Kaduna-3;
Ekiti and Zamfara-2 each.

The health agency further said that the total have risen to 131,918 while a total of 106,275 have been discharged.

It added that 1,607 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related ailments since the was reported in February 27 last year.
