COVID-19 Update: NCDC Confirms 112 New Cases

Abuja (Precise Post) – The latest report from the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has it that 112 new cases of #COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday night in Nigeria.

The report released via it’s twitter handle said the fresh infections were recorded from the underlisted states including FCT:

Lagos-35; FCT-22; Ondo-17; Kaduna and
Ebonyi-9 each; Bauchi-6 and Kebbi-4.

Other states where the new cases were reported are: Delta, Osun and Jigawa-2 each; Borno, Edo, Kano and Nasarawa -1 each.

The health agency further added that the total confirmed cases have risen to 161,651 out of which 147,775 patients have been treated and discharged from across various isolation facilities in Nigeria.

The NCDC regrettably reported that 2,030 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27 last year.
