Abuja (Precise Post) – Senator Shehu Sani has faulted the decision of the federal government for total lockdown in 18 local governments, saying that it will not change or reduce anything.
The former federal lawmaker who represented Kaduna central senatorial district in the 8th senate, said the reality is that the #COVID19 “safety protocol” has been ignored by most people amidst a spike. Adding that “we are just into survival of the fittest phase”.
The Comrade Senator disclosed this on his verified twitter handle @ShehuSani.
Precise Post recalls that the federal government through the Presidential Task Force Chairman On COVID-19, Boss Mustapha on Monday, said that eighteen (18) local government areas in Nigeria account for 60% of COVID-19 cases and those local government areas have to be locked down to contain the spread of the pandemic in the country.
“The precision lockdown would be implemented by the Governors of the States where the 18 local governments reside, Boss Mustapha added.
