COVID-19:Nigeria Confirms 1,633 Fresh Cases – NCDC

Abuja (Precise Post) – Nigeria on Saturday confirmed 1,633 fresh cases of #COVID-19, the Centre for Disease Control has said.

The report released via twitter handle said that the fresh infections were recorded from 21 states as follows:

Lagos-498; Plateau-214; FCT-176; Rivers-99;
Kaduna-98; Edo-87; Anambra-86; Akwa Ibom-50; Osun-47; Kano and Oyo-40 each; Kwara-39;
Ebonyi, Niger and Taraba-28 each; Ogun-27;
Ondo-21; Ekiti-12; Katsina-7; Borno-6; Delta-2.

The NCDC report stated that the total confirmed cases have risen to 120,602 out of which 95,901 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities across the country.

The total of 1,502 lives have been lost to COVID-19 complications since the index case was reported in February 27, 2020.

The breakdown of total confirmed cases for the 36 states of the federation including the FCT is shown below:
