BENIN CITY – Ahead of the Edo State election on Saturday, the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised the alarm over alleged plan by three officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to compromise the governorship poll.
In a letter of complaint addressed to the party Chairman dated 18th of September signed by the state’s Chairman and Secretary, the party accused the trio of state’s HOD, Operation, Mr. Inoyengeini Ogbise; Head of ICT, Mr. Lawrence Akan and the Electoral Officer (EO) of Akoko Edo, Blessing Suleiman of recruiting some staff of the commission outside Edo State, among others, to work in the interest of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 21st governorship election.
