Abuja (Precise Post) – Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Wednesday collected the nomination form for Edo governorship ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party’s sitting governor, Patrick Obaseki at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja as consensus candidate of the party in the state.
Recall that the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole is at dagger drawn with the incumbent governor of the state, Patrick Obaseki and has vowed to ensure he does not get second term.
Precise Post recalls that the Edo state governorship election is slated for September 19, 2020.
Some days ago, the Peoples Democratic Party, Edo state chapter extended hands of fellowship to the APC governor, Patrick Obaseki, intimating him of the Party’s willingness to welcome him in its fold.
