ABUJA – The Presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the February 25, 2023 general election, Peter Obi has revealed that he is aware that the Anambra elites are not happy with him.
Obi who gave the reason why the elites are not happy with him in a video posted by Mo-Mo, said it is because he did give them public money.
The former Anambra state governor hinted that when he become governor of Anambra state by the influence of Prof A.B C Nwosu (ask him) he asked me to go and see certain people, he is still alive I told him I won’t see them. I am contesting to be governor of Anambra state.
He continued: “When I became governor people were not happy with me, the elites in Anambra, even till today are not happy with me. Is not that I don’t know, I know because I go to see the President then who tells me Peter nobody is happy with you. And I will say Mr. President, I didnt promise people happiness, I promised to fix school, I promised to fix health because the only thing that would have made them happy is to give them public money which I am not ready to give anybody, but that is it!

He has previously held the position from March to November 2006 and February to May 2007.
