The users of the social media platform X (formerly twitter) have been reacting to the revelation that neither did Air Peace Ltd receive a water Canon salute when the inaugural flight landed nor was it announced by Gatwick on their Instagram.
Precise Post recalls that popular arise TV presenter, Oseni Rufai on Saturday announced that a friend of his who had a look at Gatwicks Instagram to see if Air Peace received a water Canon salute when the inaugural flight landed discovered that not only did Air Peace not receive a water canon salute but also Gatwick did not even bother to announce the inaugural flight on their Instagram.
Rufai who hinted that Airports always announce new flights on their social media, highlighted that from the profile of Gatwick that they announced new flights with airlines from Azerbaijan and Swiss Air in the last few days.
He further discribed it as a disgraceful behaviour by Gatwick.
Rufai therefore charged Air Peace Public Relation personnel to really make noise about these things.
However, since releasing this from his X account, there have been different reactions from X account users and some of these are:
Skye says :
“I think you have overstayed in Nigeria.
Please Travel and see the way the world treat anything Nigeria these days. The respect is gone. I know we will get here but I never knew it will be this fast.”
Rashida Funmi Dawodu says:

“The day the Supreme Court upheld that illegality even with the knowledge that #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary Trended Globally, they destroyed the little respect left on the name, Nigeria! But the fact is, Air Peace has made a Landslide Victory✌🏼and they’ll continue to go places 🥰💪🏼🔥.”
