Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake has said that the French Ambassador to Nigeria, HE Marc Fonbaustier has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to being a formidable ally in developing Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.
Alake, who disclosed this on Sunday via his verified X account, hinted that Fonbaustier reiterated this when the latter paid him a courtesy visit.
According to the Minister, the Ambasdador spoke about how France fully supports our roadmap for mining development and has a keen interest in investment.
Alake acknowledged France’s leading position among prospective stakeholders interested in Nigeria’s solid minerals sector. He expressed optimism that our long-standing and robust bilateral relationship will be further strengthened through key initiatives in the solid minerals sector, backed by actionable goals and clear timelines.
