ENUGU (PRECISE POST) – Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State on Monday (today) inaugurated the reconstituted Enugu State Local Government Service Commission (ESLGSC), entrusting the new members with the critical task of driving an efficient and productive local government system.

Mbah, who announced this when he took to his verified X account, said the Commission has Barr. Nana Ogbodo as Chairman, Hon. Peter Nnaji as Member I, Mrs. Florence Igboji as Member II, Dr. Bathlomew Ezeugwu as Member III, and Amaka Nweke as Member IV, alongside Osondu Nnaji as Secretary.

According to the Governor, the members of the team were carefully chosen for their integrity, experience, and commitment to public service.

He further stated that his administration’s development model is one that leaves no part of the state behind. “This is evident in our interventions across key sectors, from the 260 Smart Green Schools to the Primary Healthcare Centres and farm estates spread across all 260 electoral wards”.

Adding that the local government system plays a vital role in ensuring these projects translate into tangible benefits for our people.

“I have no doubt that the Commission will rise to the occasion, ensuring that local government administration in Enugu State is not only efficient but also aligns with our ambitious economic growth agenda”.

“As Barr. Ogbodo rightly noted, achieving our target of expanding Enugu’s economy from $4.4 billion to $30 billion requires the collective effort of every sector, and the local government system must play its part.”

“”I look forward to seeing this team drive meaningful impact at the grassroots level, ensuring that governance continues to deliver real value to our people”””I look forward to seeing this team drive meaningful impact at the grassroots level, ensuring that governance continues to deliver real value to our people”
