The Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, proudly showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage as she graced the famous Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, dressed in elegant traditional attire and a striking headgear.

In a video shared on Sunday by X user #TheresaTekenah, Musawa was seen walking gracefully with two other women, all moving in unison with elegance and pride.

The Ojude Oba Festival, held annually on the third day after Eid-al-Adha, is a cherished cultural event celebrated in honour of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

The Nation had earlier reported that the Ojude Oba festival has begun in Ijebu Ode in Ogun State gathering individuals from different walks of life.

The festival features a display of colourful attire by various age groups, known as ‘regberegbe’, alongside horse-riding competitions and an array of rich cultural performances.
