The road to the 2025 FIFA World Cup is heating up as the Super Eagles of Nigeria resumed camp in Uyo ahead of their must-win qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, defender Bruno Onyemaechi, and goalkeeper Amas Obasogie were the first players to storm camp on Monday morning, flying in from their European bases.

The camp, officially opened on Sunday evening, is expected to witness a full house by Monday night as more invited stars arrive ahead of the high-stakes encounters.

Training kicks off Tuesday in Uyo, with several players already in Lagos and Abuja, waiting for connecting flights to join the squad.

However, there are growing concerns that a few key players might face slight delays due to ongoing transfer negotiations across Europe. Among them are Ademola Lookman, Cyriel Dessers, Tolu Arokodare, Chrisantus Uche, and Samuel Chukwueze.

With just days to go, expectations are soaring as Nigerians look forward to seeing the Super Eagles soar against Rwanda and South Africa. Fans across the country are buzzing with excitement, hopeful that the team will deliver commanding performances to strengthen their World Cup qualification hopes.
