Insecurity: Injustice and others are reasons for restiveness -Uche Nwosu

In a brief session with some group of journalist at the office of his father-in-law, the Unity House, Senator Rochas Okorocha, he x-rayed the problem of insecurity to be bordered on the increasing injustice unemployment, and corruption that has eaten deep into the fabrics of this nation and the need to address the situation as a fundamental panacea to the challenges of insecurity across the country.

According to Uche, he said,” it is time we decide that the right thing be done, some groups of people across the nation believes that they have been neglected and relegated, not seen as part of the country ,that’s the reason for restiveness due to the injustice on them.

I think we are Nigerians and I believe solidly in this country, I don’t see somebody from the southwest coming back to aspire for the president of this country, or somebody from the north saying they want to be president.

We should at this time where there are problems across the country, we should let the right thing to be done, at least let the people consider the presidency to go to the southeast this time around.

This is the injustice we are talking about, and another one is the issue of corruption, where funds will be released to combat the challenges of insecurity and little or nothing is done with the fund with no proper accountability or being used for the purpose for which the funds were released in the first place”.

He earlier spoke about the need to engage the youth in active and gainful means of livelihood in other to reduce the rate of crime and other social vices we are currently faced with in this country today.
