Abuja (Precise Post) – Senator representing Abia south senatorial district, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has reacted to a headline newspaper, wherein President Buhari was quoted as expressing surprise over the level of insecurity in the country.
Abaribe who said, “your surprise surprised me, recalled how the All Progressives Congress led federal government has been going about with propaganda that Boko Haram has been defeated.
He further recalled how the spokesperson of the president, Femi Adesina only few days ago accused Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) of behaving like a political party, adding that he would have called him out now except that the Senate President said we should not be partisan in this all important issue.
Senator Abaribe also called on the APC-led federal government to resign having finally admitted its failure to rid the country of insecurity as promised during their campaign in 2015 and upon which they were re-elected in 2019.
