JOS – The Customer Service of the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Jos, has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in serving passengers and other stakeholders of the airport.

The airport Head of Customer Service, Mr Austin Umo, made the commitment at the closing of customer service week on Friday in Jos.

Umo said the customer service department would always be committed to making every journey through Jos smooth, comfortable, and memorable.

The customer service head assured the passengers that the department would continue to prioritise accessibility, courtesy, and feedback-driven improvement.

“We have established dedicated complaints and suggestions lines to help passengers communicate directly with our service teams.

“We will keep listening, learning, and improving to ensure that every traveller who passes through this airport leaves with a positive impression.

“Your feedback is the foundation on which we build better experiences every day,” he said.

He highlighted ongoing flight operations, reminding passengers of the current schedule for major airlines operating at the airport.

“Flight days remain Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday for Arik Air at 12 noon, while ValueJet operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,” he explained.

Umo appreciated passengers, partners, and sponsors for supporting the 2025 Customer Service Week.

He commended the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) for its sustained investment in customer satisfaction and inclusivity, noting that the progress recorded was a collective effort.

The customer service head added that every collaboration reflected a shared commitment to creating a travel experience that was not only efficient but also welcoming and memorable.

Umo lauded Mrs Chidima Ekpo, the General Manager of Jos Kerojet Services Airlines, and the banks for the opportunity to celebrate this year’s customer service. (NAN)
