Manchester City to Square Up With Arsenal as Premier League Resumes June 17

Abuja (Precise Post) – The defending champions – Manchester City will clash with Arsenal as the English Premier league resumes on June 17.

Precise Post recalls that the Premier League was suspended more than three months ago following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

The resumption date was announced Thursday by the Premier League management although the matches will be played in empty stadia.

According to the announcement, “The league will resume with a clash between defending champions Manchester City and Arsenal.

Aston Villa will also host Sheffield United on the same day.

WIth those two matches to be played on June 17, all Premier League teams would have played 29 matches for the 2019/2020 season.

Matches would then continue on the weekend of June 19.

Liverpool currently lead the Premier League table and only need to win two of their last nine games to be crowned champions.
