Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 1,005 fresh cases of #COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The health agency which disclosed this via it’s twitter handle late Friday night, said the new cases were recorded from the underlisted states including the FCT;
Lagos-204; Kwara-155; Oyo-124; Plateau-80;
FCT-75; Edo-56; Osun-48; Ondo-41; Kaduna and Rivers-40 each and Taraba-35.
Other states where the new cases were recorded are: Borno-32; Ekiti-21; Ogun-20;
Kano-14; Bayelsa-8; Delta-7; Bauchi-3 and
Jigawa-2.
The NCDC further informed that it has recorded a total of 144,521 confirmed cases since the index case was reported and that a total of
118,866 of them have been treated and discharged across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
The health agency regrettably reported that
1,734 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications and gave the breakdown of total confirmed cases as below:
