NCDC Says 325 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Nigeria

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday announced that 325 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Nigeria.

This brings the total confirmed cases to 48, 770 out of which 36,290 have been treated and discharged from sundry isolation centres across the country.

The NCDC which announced this via its twitter handle said that Lagos top the infection chart with 87 patients while FCT came second with 49 patients and Gombe third with 28 patients.

Others are Ebonyi-20; Plateau-19; Kwara-18; Enugu-17; Imo and Rivers-12 each; Kaduna-11 ; Ogun-10; Edo and Oyo-9 each ; Ondo and Osun-8 each; Ekiti-4; Borno, Kano, Bauchi and Nasarawa-1each.

The health agency further said that 974 deaths have been recorded in the country since the index case in February 27, 2020.
