MINNA- Hajiya Fatima Bago, wife of Niger Governor, on Thursday visited some hospitals in Minna to sympathise with patients on admission.
A statement by Mrs Hadiza Maikano, Chief Press Secretary to the governor’s wife, stated that she also made cash donations to each of the patients on admission.
She said some of the hospitals visited were Minna General hospital, Jummai Babangida Neo-natal Hospital and IBB Specialist Hospital.
Maikano said during the visit, she went from ward to ward and bed to bed to interact with patients on admission and presented undisclosed cash gifts to each of them.
She said the gesture was to extend a hand of fellowship to the less privileged in the society, to spur other women holding political positions to embrace the same gesture. (NAN)
