Nigeria’s COVID-19 Curve Flattens as NCDC Records 288 New Cases

Abuja (Precise Post) – The Nigeria’s curve has shown a flattening trend as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 288 on Monday.

According to the report released by the health agency, Lagos state, the epicentre of the novel virus, came first with 88 new infections followed by Kwara and Osun with 33 and 27 respectively.

The NCDC further said that with the 288 latest infections across the 15 states , the total confirmed cases in Nigeria has risen to 44,129 out of which 20,663 have been treated and discharged.

The health agency said that 896 lives had been lost to the dreaded disease since the index case was reported on 27th February, 2020.
