ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, GCON, has expressed sorrow over the demise of a businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Bala Abdulwahab, popularly known as Albabello.
Alhaji Bala Abdulwahab, who was the founder/CEO of Albabello Trading Company Limited, Zaria, died on Monday, aged 68.
The Speaker, in a statement through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, described the late Albabello a great philanthropist who made positive impacts in the lives of many people.
He said the Zazzau Emirate and indeed Kaduna State have lost a great businessman who dedicated his entire life to the service of humanity.
Speaker Abbas recalled how Albabello, through his exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, created employment opportunities for thousands of people in Zaria and across the country, using his company’s various branches.
He noted that Albabello also built numerous primary and secondary schools to promote both formal and informal education; constructed mosques, fostering spiritual growth and community development; sponsored scholarships for countless less privileged students to study in Nigeria and abroad, among others.
The Speaker prayed to Allah (SWT) to grant the late Alhaji Bala Abdulwahab Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
