Abuja (Precise Post) – Mike Ozekhome Senior Advocate of Nigeria and one of the lawyers to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has said that his client will appeal Wednesday’s ruling of the Presidential Election Tribunal Court.
Precise Post recalls that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday dismissed the petition of PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in its entirety for failure to prove his case.
The five-member panel of the tribunal unanimously dismissed the petition, on the ground that the petitioners did not prove them beyond reasonable doubt.
Ozekhome said immediately after the ruling that they would “challenge the ‘misevaluation’ of critical evidence in the judgement.
“That we’re appealing to the Supreme Court is as certain as death.”he added.
