Power Project: Imo Govt Signs MOA With 27 LGAs and Orashi Electricity Company

OWERRI – Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma has hinted that his administration has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) wirh the 27 Local Governments in the state and Orashi Electricity Company aimed at ensuring that all citizens and residents benefit from his transformative approach to governance.

Uzodinma who took to his X account to disclose this late on Monday, further stated that key priority of his administration is the comprehensive project aimed at generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity across every part of Imo State.

According to him, this agreement guarantees that the benefits of this project will be holistically distributed across all Local Government Areas in Imo State, ensuring equitable access to electricity for all communities.

In his words:

:A key priority of my administration is the comprehensive project aimed at generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity across every part of Imo State. This initiative ensures that all citizens and residents benefit from this transformative approach to governance.”

“In line with this, we have taken a significant step towards actualizing our Electricity Generation Project as we successfully signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Imo State Government, the 27 Local Governments and Orashi Electricity Company.”

“This agreement guarantees that the benefits of this project will be holistically distributed across all Local Government Areas in Imo State, ensuring equitable access to electricity for all communities.”
