ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – As part of ongoing internal reforms within the within Nigeria’s domestic intelligence agency, the Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 personnel.
The Service, in a statement released on its official X handle @OfficialDSSNG Tuesday, disclosed that the action was taken over a period as part of efforts to sanitize its ranks and maintain professional standards.
It also reiterated earlier disclaimers on Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, warning that some of the dismissed operatives continue to impersonate DSS officials to defraud unsuspecting citizens.
“The Service finds it necessary to warn citizens of the fraudulent activities of some of these persons still posing as DSS personnel,” the statement read. “Members of the public are advised to desist from any official dealing with these individuals who have been dismissed by the Service.”
