Abuja (Precise Post) – The President of the 8th Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki has paid a condolence visit to family of the late former Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu in their Asokoro residence, Abuja.
During the visit, Saraki extolled the leadership and statesmanship of late Alhaji Mantu who died at the early hours of Tuesday.
Saraki who disclosed this in a statement released via his Facebook page, recalled that late Senator Mantu was committed to not only the development of his constituents, but his entire state and the nation at large.
He prayed Almighty Allah to blesse, guide and protect the family that he has left behind.
The statement reads:
This evening, I was in Asokoro, Abuja to pay a condolence visit to the family of our former Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ibrahim Mantu, who passed away early this morning.
During the visit, I eulogized Senator Mantu for his leadership and statesmanship — remembering how he was committed to not only the development of his constituents, but his entire state and the nation at large.
