Zamfara state Police Commissioner, Muhammad Dalijan, says the Command has deployed its Anti-Bomb Squad to the scene of the Talata Mafara Market explosion to assess the situation and restore normalcy.
This is coming after a Tuesday explosion that rocked the market, killing some and while others sustained various degrees of burns.
The commissioner said the squad is still analyzing evidence from the scene to professionally determine the cause of the explosion.
The blast, which occurred on Tuesday at the busy Talata Mafara Market, injured over 40 traders and buyers.
Two victims have reportedly died, while others are receiving treatment.
