Abuja (Precise Post) – As part of solidarity, loyalty and realignment ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in the state, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ese Odo area in Ondo state, Mr. Samuel Ajayi has resigned his position and joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ajayi, who confirmed his resignation to journalists on Friday said he appreciated the governor Rotimi Akeredolu for allowing him to serve in that capacity.
He further informed that he has joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
Precise Post recalls that his defection to the PDP may not be unconnected with the political battle for the control of the state between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi.
Recall that Agboola dumped the APC and defected to the PDP where he has obtained expression of interest and nomination forms to contest in the primaries of the party.
