ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – In a rare blend of music, patriotism, and political advocacy, the Coordinator of Amuwo Patriots, Belmon Ebele Nwuzor, has released a powerful tribute song titled “Natasha Is Her Name,” celebrating the outstanding performance of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan after two years of representing the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District.
Belmon, a songwriter and singer, described the project as more than just a single track, noting that she treated the song as a debut album and a heartfelt tribute to a public office holder whose work has inspired admiration beyond regional and ethnic boundaries.
Though she is neither from Kogi State nor the Middle Belt region, Belmon said Senator Natasha’s commitment to service compelled her to act.
According to her, the song was written to congratulate the senator for her visible developmental strides, while also serving as encouragement for her to do even more for her constituents.
Remarkably, the project was completed under extremely challenging circumstances, asi Belmon defied protracted ill health to compose, record, and produce the song.
“Against all odds, she stood her ground,” associates said, describing her determination to complete the project as a testament to her belief in selfless leadership and national progress.
The lyrics of “Natasha Is Her Name” reportedly capture many of the projects already executed by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan across Kogi Central, making the song a documentation of governance through music rather than a routine praise track.
Beyond honoring one senator, the song carries a broader national message. Belmon believes the work will challenge other political office holders across Nigeria to rise to the expectations of the people who entrusted them with leadership. She also emphasized that the song serves as a wake-up call to Nigerians to actively demand accountability, transparency, and fulfillment of campaign promises from their leaders.
In further demonstration of her advocacy, Belmon Ebele Nwuzor, who is also the convener of Amuwo Patriots, a civic group based in Lagos State, recently organized a peaceful rally in Festac Town, Lagos.
During the rally, members of the group were seen carrying banners bearing Senator Natasha’s image, eulogising her exemplary service to her constituents and urging her to sustain the momentum and seek re-election in 2027.
Amuwo Patriots, though located in Lagos, is made up of Nigerians from diverse backgrounds and walks of life, united by a strong belief in patriotism and good governance.
The group maintains an unwavering optimism that Nigeria will one day emerge as one of the greatest nations in the world, driven by accountable leadership and active citizen participation.
With “Natasha Is Her Name,” Belmon Ebele Nwuzor has once again proven that music can be more than entertainment, it can be a powerful tool for advocacy, recognition, and national reawakening.
