By Ogechi Okorie Abuja (Precise Post) – National Assembly will ensure justice for victims of misconduct and rights abuses by personnel of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police, the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan has said. In a statement he personally signed on Monday, Lawan said that as part of moves to discourage impunity, the National Assembly will insist that the masterminds and perpetrators of the alleged abuses are prosecuted and sanctioned to serve as deterrent to others. The President of the Senate also assured that the Lawmakers will work in synergy with the Executive to ensure that the five-point demands of the #EndSARS protesters which the government has committed itself to are fully implemented.
