Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis told ERTnews that while people were allowed to demonstrate they must not blockade the ship nor engage in violence.
Greece and its many islands is a popular holiday destination for Israeli tourists.
However, they face increasing demonstrations and criticism over the actions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in Gaza.
The Chairman of the Greek tourism union, Grigoris Chotzoglou, warned of increasing chaos in the country’s tourism sector.
He attributed the protests to left-wing groups as well as small minorities and their offshoots, accusing the demonstrators of trying to garner attention through isolated actions. (dpa/NAN)
