ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Lere Olayinka, Media Aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has accused Sahara Reporters publisher and political activist, Omoyele Sowore, of spending approximately N250 million annually on his son’s education in the United States.

According to Olayinka who made the allegation on his X handle on Friday , Sowore’s 14-year-old son, Komi, is currently enrolled at Dwight-Englewood School, a private college-preparatory day school located in Englewood, New Jersey. The school is known for offering education from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.

The aide claims that tuition at the institution costs $54,605 (about N85 million) per term, amounting to $163,815 (about N250 million) per academic year, excluding additional fees such as $700 for an iPad.

The media aide further alleged that Sowore funds these expenses through what he described as a combination of “blackmailing people” and “millions of dollars in grants” supposedly acquired through his activities as a “cashtivist” — a term the aide used to suggest Sowore monetizes his activism.

Precise Post recalls that this is coming against the backdrop of mind-burgling and breath-taking allegations by Sowore of how Nyesom Wike stole our money and used it to buy houses in the United States and built HyperCity Supermarkets in Rivers State.

However, in a swift reaction to Olayinka, the daring and fearless Morning Show Presenter with Arise Television, Oseni Rufai @ruffydfire took a swipe at Olayinka saying: “It takes someone who doesn’t know the value of education to condemn another man for investing in his children’s education.”

“Anyway, when they speak, you will see their mushroom knowledge.”

Rufai ended by saying, “May we not serve our age mate in our old age!”

Similarly, almost about the same time yesterday, a Social Media Influencer – Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan also took to his X handle, charging the FCT Minister to sue Sowore if the accusation is false. He also condenmed @officialefcc for turning deaf ear to the issues Sowore is raising against the former Governor of Rivers State.

VeryDarkMan’s tweet reads:

“Dear nyesom wike OMOYELE SOWORE SAID YOU STOLE,SUE HIM NOW,DONT let him accuse you wrongly and @officialefcc Shey una eagle blind ni? Una no see watin SOWORE Dey talk sing about how nyesom wike stole our money and used it to buy houses in the us”

Earlier in his X handle, Sowere had said:

“The revelation is that thieving Nyesom Ezenwo Wike @Govwike diverted $300 million earmarked for Ogoniland’s remediation and development.”

“Reports indicate that Nyesom Ezenwo Wike @GovWike funneled the funds into constructing a chain of supermarkets in Port Harcourt, known as “HyperCity Supermarkets.”
“This revelation, which is being hushed, had an honorable mention in a document presented by an Ogoni delegation to @officialABAT at the Aso Rock Villa the day before yesterday.”

“We will not stop until @GovWike is brought to justice or justice is brought to him for the unprecedented looting, killings, and destruction he has wrought on Nigerians across board”. #RevolutionNow

ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – The Media Aide to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Lere Olayinka on Monday slammed the human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Femi Falana, saying the legal luninary must be looking for new clients.

Precise Post recalls that Falana on Monday, June 9, 2025, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, cautioned the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) against sealing embassies in Abuja over unpaid ground rents. He emphasized that such actions would violate both Nigerian constitutional provisions and international laws, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which protects the inviolability of diplomatic missions.

Falana stated that, “Embassies and missions cannot be invaded because they have not paid ground rent, which is not applicable for all of them.”

He further explained that even if a person commits an offense and seeks refuge within an embassy, law enforcement officers are prohibited from entering the premises to apprehend the individual. This principle underscores the sanctity of diplomatic missions under international law.

Further recall that Falana’s remarks were in response to recent actions by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), led by Minister Nyesom Wike, who had ordered the sealing of properties, including some embassies, over non-payment of ground rents.

However, reacting to the views canvassed by Falana, Olayinka who accused the former of looking for new client becauae he knows the provisions of Section 28, Subsections (a) and (b) of the Land Use Act, but he will pretend not to know, just as he was on Channels TV then, saying THREE lawmakers in a House of Assembly of 32 members can pass budget.

“Section 28, Subsections (a) and (b) of the Land Use Act provides that:
“The Government may revoke a Statutory Right of Occupancy on the ground of; (a) a breach of any of the provisions which a certificate of occupancy is by Section 10 deemed to contain; and (b) a breach of any term contained in the Certificate of Occupancy.”

Olayinka further advised anyone in the FCT owing Ground Rent or any levy associated with landed property to go and pay and not to let Femi Falana deceive them.

Shortly after this tweet by Olayinka, the X (formerly Twitter) has been buzzing with mixed reactions as follows:

Replying Olayinka, tweettmo says: “At least he isn’t jumping from one politician to another searching for an SSA media job. Same job you did years ago in your 30s; you’re still defending politicians for a living. Falana SAN is a household name in Nigeria, but the same can’t be said about you.”

Which Geneva convention says embassies and missions can owe rents on their apartment and nothing should happen because it’s an embassy? He even said it’s not justiciable? So an embassy can rent my apartment and refuse to pay and nothing would happen? In fact they can’t continue to occupy my property till eternity and I can’t even go to court? ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Popular Arise Television presenter, Rufai Oseni has replied critics who have abandoned the issues but are now chasing shadows by arguing that he should leave broadcasting and focus on animal-related adventures since he holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Animal Physiology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Precise Post recalls that since yesterday the social media has been buzzing over the war of words between Rufai Oseni and Lere Olayinka, the spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Olayinka, who was a guest at Arise TV show on Friday said Rufai “should begin to act like a human being that you are suppose to be. Is it not you that studied animal anatomy? Go and be doing documentary on animal now and stop talking to human beings.”

Reacting on Saturday (today) on his X account handle, Rufai in a statement titled, “Time to correct the ignorance” said;

“I have heard some warped analogy about what people studying in school definning them.”

“Based on the warped analogy, That says to be a politician, you must study political science, Madam Thatcher wouldn’t have emerged, she should have focused on the Chemistry the studied and work in the Lab.”

“Probably, Theresa May shouldn’t have become the British prime minister, she could have focused on Geography and become a geographer, trying to discover River Thames.”

“The sad part is people that should know better propagate this propaganda because they can’t challenge me with facts and figures, So they go the route of abuse and insults and I laugh so glowingly because they have confirmed that I am definitely doing something right.”

“For us to build the Nigeria we want, we must do the hard work of making our leaders accountable. Accountability means seeking the best solution to the problem.”

“I am not oblivious that those don’t want to be accountable have tools they use to propagate propaganda but they must realize that, the reason they have become tools is due to the dysfunctional nation, we are trying to set right.”

“I am not delusional to think I can change Nigeria, but it will be on record i challenged it. The question is,what are you doing to challenge norms that are not right in society.”

To drive home his point, the popular TV presenter further gave long list of local and international personalities who have distinguished themselves in the media profession who didnt do any course that is journalism related.
