JALINGO (PRECISE POST) – Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Wukari/Ibi Federal constituency in Taraba State, Alhaji Muktar Galadima, has commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the establishment of the Nigerian Army’s 10 Division Headquarters in Taraba.
Galadima, who made the commendation to newsmen in Jalingo on Thursday, described the development as a major step towards strengthening security operations and tackling insecurity in Taraba and Adamawa States
He said the citing of the division’s headquarters in Taraba was timely, adding that it would improve military presence, intelligence gathering and rapid response to security threats in the region.
The PDP standard-bearer noted that security remained one of the cardinal objectives of his agenda for the people of Wukari and Ibi Federal constituency, pledging to support initiatives aimed at protecting lives and property.
“I must commend Mr. President for the reforms in the armed forces, especially the recent restructuring of the Nigerian Army.
“We are grateful for the establishment of the 10 Division headquarters in Taraba. This will go a long way in enhancing security operations and ensuring a safer Taraba,” he said.
Galadima added that the new military formation would boost confidence among residents and create a more secure environment for socio-economic activities to thrive.
