ABUJA- President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Ahmad Mustapha, former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Sardauna of Adamawa.
Mustapha died on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 76.
In a condolence statement issued by Mr Bayo Onanuga in Abuja, Tinubu praised Mustapha’s legacy of public service and leadership.
The president acknowledged his pivotal role in modernising the Nigeria Customs Service and his unwavering dedication to Adamawa State.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, the state government, and the people of Adamawa.
Tinubu described Mustapha as a statesman who will be sorely missed and prayed for Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for his soul. (NAN)
