Akure – A Nigerian university student has been left bloodied after she got assaulted by a police officer.
Policemen attached to the Anti-Crime Patrol Division in Akure have allegedly injured a student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
In a viral video on social media, a young woman was seen with one of her eyes bleeding and she apparently was the one making the video, as she kept saying, “Look at my eyes.”
The video, which was shared by a Twitter user, @iambabtee, who claims to be the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Ondo Axis, started with a look at the policemen, who were standing and leaning on their white patrol van with the inscription, ‘Anti-Crime Patrol Division, Akure’.
There are four policemen in the video who appeared unperturbed about the plight of the bleeding lady.
At the end of the video, when the lady did a close up of her injured eyes and said, “My eyes.” A voice was heard saying, “Nobody touched you nau.”
