Nigerian entertainer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa who is widely known as has opened up on why he left the Justice and peace committee of Gov Soludo.

Chukwuma Soludo appointed a number of people to in committee to unravel the true cause of armed struggle in the Southeast region which has led to insecurity.

However, in a video, Charley Boy has opened up about why he withdrew from the committee.

He wrote;

”I never received a formal invitation to the part of the committee work. A few months there were a few days’ notices to an inaugural meeting in Akwa, Since there was no arrangement to bring me to Akwa I attended the meeting via zoom.

”The called me again some weeks back, thinking I was already in Akwa for the Inauguration and I complained about how the handlers have been communicating so ineffectively with us. I am reliably informed that my sister went through the same experience but has since resigned from the committee. Even though I am honored by the invitation, I am rather disappointed by the organizers and how they have been unable to engage us in their plans and activities.

”I cannot in good conscience send my name to a process I was not fully invested in. I am therefore formally withdrawing my name and my participation from this committee. I wish to commend the vision of the for setting it up. I trust that it will live up to its expectations,” he said.
