Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Self acclaimed TableShaker and Aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Social Media, Reno Omokri has written an open letter to former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, accusing him of bias in favour of his ethnicity and political affiliations.
Reno’s open letter was coming against the backdrop of Ezekwesili’s remarks via her X account @obyezeks (formerly known as twitter) to the effect that the “independence of judiciary means independence from Executive and legislature, but not independence from accountability.”
Referencing Ezekwesili’s remarks, Reno’s missive reads as follows:
Dear @obyezeks,
Thanks for this wisdom. However, when Governor Sanwoolu wanted to hold those who built substandard structures accountable for their illegal actions, you were on record as asking him to publish the ethnic origin of every person whose house was demolished in Lagos for flouting Lagos State Physical Planning and Development Authority’s guidelines. But when Governor Soludo did the same thing in Anambra, you made no such demands.
You also publicly danced naked when Deborah Samuels was killed for blasphemy in Sokoto, but went mute when in May 2022, a pregnant Northern Muslim woman, Harira Jubril, was killed in Anambra, your home state, by unknown gunmen, with her four underaged daughters, Fatima, 9 years, Khadija 7 years, Hadiza 5 years, and Zaituna 2 years. Just as you did when American embassy staff were also killed in Anambra this year.
You also falsely accused the Yoruba of “ethnic baiting” during the last election, only for you to falsely insinuate that a Yoruba Muslim Registrar General of JAMB was trying to cheat an underaged Igbo Christian girl named Mmesomma Ejike, who turned out to be a nineteen-year-old forger.
Is it that you pick and choose who you demand accountability from depending on their ethnicity and political affiliations? Surely, that contradicts your present post on accountability, doesn’t it?
