Abuja (Precise Post) – President of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria YSFON Dr Nasir Gawuna has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr and called for sustained prayers to end insecurity in most parts of the country.
In his Eid-ul-Fitr message, the Deputy Governor of Kano State says with prayers and commitment on the part of government, the Youths and the people, the wave of killings, kidnappings, herdsmen attacks and banditry will be surmounted.
Gawuna says the peace, security and unity of the country must be placed above personal and sectional interests, as keeping Nigeria safe and united is a task for all its citizens.
The YSFON President urged Muslims in the country to promote the values and lessons of Ramadan such as piety, generosity, peaceful coexistence and justice.
He said he acknowledged and appreciated the prayers made by various Muslim Communities across the country any time the Nation is confronted by challenges.
Dr Gawuna assures Nigerian Youths that peace will return again to Nigeria so they can go about their daily sporting endeavors to enable them make a reasonable impact across the world
He wished all Muslims peaceful Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
