ABUJA (PRECISE POST) – Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on African Democratic Congress (ADC) leaders and candidates in Adamawa State to unite and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Atiku made the call in a post on his X handle on Saturday after meeting with ADC candidates contesting various elective positions in Adamawa State, including the party’s governorship candidate, Hamman Tukur Ribadu.
The former Vice President urged the party leadership, led by its Deputy National Chairman, North East, Daniel Bwala, and Adamawa State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin, to reconcile differences and ensure unity among all members of the party.
He also charged the leadership to commence extensive engagement with the electorate through mass mobilisation and voter sensitisation programmes ahead of the elections.
Atiku expressed satisfaction with what he described as the emerging unity within the ADC in Adamawa, noting that the development would enable the party to present a common front in the 2027 elections.
“I am pleased to see the party uniting to form a common front. I have encouraged them to maintain these efforts,” he said.
Precise Post recalls that the former Vice President further urged the party leaders and candidates to sustain the reconciliation process and work collectively towards strengthening the ADC’s presence and electoral prospects across Adamawa State.
