Gombe (Precise Post) – Gombe state governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has felicitated with the Emir of Gombe and Chairman Gombe state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III on the occasion of his 6th eventful reign on the throne of his forefathers yesterday, 6th June, 2020.
According to the statement signed by the governor’s spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli sent to Precise Post, Governor Yahaya described the 6 year reign of Alhaji Abubakar lll as peaceful and progressive with a lot of achievements recorded.
He praised the monarch for being a father to all and for his uncommon display of philanthropy, forthrightness and wisdom while handling his royal responsibilities.
The Governor particularly commended the Emir for his show of compassion and consistency in supporting the less privileged children in the society to acquire education through his foundation and for using his royal influence to attract development not only to his immediate domain, but to the entire state.
While describing the Gombe Emir as a critical partner of government on governance and development as well as for being an inspiration for the younger generation, the Governor prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide the traditional ruler and grant him sound health, more wisdom and successful reign.
